Welcome to the Wallaceburg Martial Arts Website

Location: The Upstairs of the Adult Recreation Center (next to the Library), use the side door.
Wallaceburg, Ontario.
Cost: $40/month + uniform (with patch $40)
The club currently teaches children and adult classes (ages 8+ with some younger children, depending on maturity.)
Classes are: Children 7pm-8pm Adult 8pm-9pm Monday and Thursdays.
What we teach:
The regular curriculum is American Kenpo.
This is a wrestling and a striking art that requires comprehensive coaching, training and practice. Students will learn basics (punches, kicks, movement, grapples), self defenses (learning how concepts and principles go together to make effectiveness, Forms and Sets (self-practice exercises for fitness and memory) and freestyle sparring. (Students require about 1 year attendance before sparring occurs. This is to generate trust and understanding of the sparring environment.)
We are also teaching elements from other Western Martial Arts, such as: Stick and Cane Fighting, Savate and Boxe Francaise, Wrestling from the United Kingdom, Collegiate and Greco Roman Wrestling. Bayonet, Short Arms Fencing and Chain Mail Armour Construction.
